Love it.

"Understudy" by Beverly Rollwagen
She just wants an understudy, a body
double for the days when she does
not feel like appearing in any of the roles
she has assumed and/or been assigned.
She places an ad in the paper. Wanted:one
wife, mother, daughter, neighbor,
friend. Live-in OK. Own car necessary.
No lines to memorize; everything ad-
libbed. No days off.

I love that poem! I'm so glad you put it on your blog; now I can read it whenever. I think I'm going to copy cat you and start posting favorite songs, poems, etc. on blogs. Because I can never come up w/ anything good out of my own head. So I'll steal other people's ideas!

Hannah can't come up with good stuff?! Wow! That had better be a humongus understatement or else there's no hope left in the world. Yeah I like that poem too. Sigh. If only...Does anyone want to be my understudy?
