And happy belated birthday Dr. Suess.
So, in honor of Spencer's birthday, Davies leaving the team, and Mariel wanting FatBooth...I give you this post.
I'm signed up for an institute class. Spencer graciously goes with me so I don't have to go alone. Lately, though, we've been having a hard time going. Last night we decided to watch the BYU game! We wanted to cheer our cougars on to victory!!
Unfortunately, within the first 15 minutes we knew the game was a lost cause.

Well, one of the weirdest days.
Buuuuuut I just love my Bishop Jensen, and I miss his insights and that ward so much. And I miss living and adventuring with Holly! She is the greatest friend ever.
I hope tomorrow is a fun day, but not a weird day, because I just don't even know what to think anymore!

From now on we are joined, and we shall not be parted! From this day on, it's all for one and one for all for life!
Together we will fight. Their battles will be mine.

Well, I stole this picture from Joel's facebook, but since I'm in the picture...I think it's okay to steal it :)
We had a triple birthday bash on Saturday for Adam, Brad, and me! It was way fun and way good--Malawi's pizza in the Riverwoods...plus, for every meal bought they donate a nutritious meal to an orphan in Africa, so you can kinda feel better about eating out :)
I love these friends so much! Joel, Karlee, and Brent came to celebrate with us and even bought our pizza--how nice! They're all just the best!
Okay...so if you only see Joel, Adam, and me in the picture...click on it to see the whole thing. I don't know what is happening with my blog!

I'm considering renaming my blog "Egocentric Speech", because that's what it is. I love posting random things no one (but me) cares about. Here is another one of those things. For some reason, this facebook thread is cracking me up.
PS: If you want to read it, you have to click on it. And if you don't get it, or think I'm weird, don't blame me--it's your fault for reading this blog. But I know that two years from now I'm going to read this post and think, oh my gosh, that was the most hilarious thing. So there.

So, more than a year ago I posted this. Now time has passed and I have some additional information. That summer was a pretty good one...
...but this summer has been the best of my life. Yeah. Take that, 2007.
PS: I could have used a different picture of us at the rodeo, but for some reason I really like my dad in the background sticking his finger in my ear.

...but unfortunately, sometimes they do. I don't think I will ever be able to recreate the expression that is on my face. This is an example of A. The random pictures I have on my computer and B. The random things we do for fun. I seriously have the best friends ever, because when I'm with them I can be myself. But I can also pretend to be different people...like a pregnant woman.

Okay, so I already mentioned that I was looking through all the pictures on my computer and found some random ones. Well, here is another random blog...about my random pictures (photos courtesy of Suzanne).
So it was January, I think. We had just attended a fun FHE in the RB. We were all in Suzanne's car and when we pulled into the Mountainwood parking lot, we noticed our home teachers Thayne and Ben had not yet arrived at home. We thought it would be hilarious if we parked in Thayne's parking spot because he would come roaring into the lot in his huge truck, find his spot taken, be mad, then we would all jump out of the car and be like, "Surpise! We parked in your spot, hahaha." Or something like that.
So Suzanne parked and we ducked down and hid. And hid, and hid, and still we were hiding. Every time we saw headlights we would get scared and peek out to see if it was Thayne coming. It never was.
But we kept hiding.
Eventually we had waited so long that we were getting bored. We decided to call Ben and ask where the heck they were and if they were coming home soon. I was the designated caller. When Ben picked up I tried to be all cool.
Me: "Hey Ben, I was just wondering...where are you guys? Are you coming home soon?"
Ben: "Well, we stopped at a friend's house for a bit. Why? Is everything okay?
*Now, pretty sure I had just been through a breakup at this time...so I didn't want Ben to think I was having an emotional breakdown or something, because I didn't want them to worry*
Me [really awkwardly]: "Yeah, everything's fine, I just...wanted to talk to you...I'm not like having an emotional breakdown but...I just wanted to talk...?"
Ben apparently misheard what I actually said and instead heard this: "I NEED TO TALK TO YOU. I AM HAVING AN EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN. COME HOME NOW." So he started to get really worried and insisted that they were leaving their friends' house that instant to come talk to me. Then I started to feel even more like an idiot so I made either Suzanne or Alice take the phone and explain what we had attempted to do. We felt kinda lame, but at least we got pictures out of it! Right?
Okay this was a really long, verbose, and boring post.

During our last rehearsal at the indoor theater we spent the majority of our time sitting in this nook by the locked door. That is how exciting rehearsals can get.

...we found this cool design in the snow. Because it's been so snowy lately I was reminded of this. It was a pretty cool anomaly.

I feel that my blogs have been consisting solely of pictures lately but that's okay because people like pictures, right?....right. Anyway, I like this picture of me and Colin. It was taken over Christmas break. I was having a pretty bad day; I wasn't in the greatest mood at all. Aunt Lorre was over and I was telling her all my woes and sorrows when Colin turned around and said, "And you just wanted to give up, didn't you?" Yes, I certainly did want to give up, but Colin was just so cute and he came over and gave me a big hug.
And...my eyes look a little creepy.

I just recently came across this picture for the first time. It's from State Fair, which was about ten years ago. I played a little girl (named Violet, incidentally) who got set up on a date with an older man through a misunderstanding. We had our own dance number and everything.

Our family moved to Virginia in the late fall of '93. Abby had just been born and Karly was still very young, so to make for a less stressful move, Dad, Nathan and I drove across the country to set up shop and Mom, Karly, and Abby were going to fly out and meet us. I remember just a few things about this road trip, and this blog is dedicated to telling that story.
1. Mom, Karly, and two week old Abby were staying with Grandma and Grandpa Murray. I remember saying goodbye to Mom, getting in the car, and pulling out of the driveway. I looked back and Mom was standing in the doorway, holding Abby and wearing her pink bathrobe, and crying. It is a very sad memory for me. Even now I'm tearing up.
2. We forgot the suitcase that had our swimming suits. This is a problem because how do you occupy children on road trips? You swim in hotels. We went to a store and Dad tried to buy us swimming suits, but it wasn't exactly swim suit season so I ended up with a gymnastics leotard and Nate got a pair of shorts with a picture of a baseball on them. We were able to swim!
3. We ate at Casa Bonita in Colorado. I love that restaurant. The Mayan: Casa Bonita::Lagoon: Disneyland (it's really good). There was a man in a gorilla suit running around, and that's where we took the above picture.
4. When we finally got to our house it was very late. We put a mattress on the floor in one of the rooms, plugged in our little TV, and watched Aladdin. I thought it was very exciting.
That's about all I remember from the trip from Utah to Virginia. I'm sure it was a lot more eventful than what I've mentioned, but it was great for me to be able to spend that time with my dad and brother.

Okay, I should definitely be studying right now, but I am just too sick of school. So I thought I'd drop in on my blog and post two random things.
#1: Today I was severely lacking in the social skills department. I didn't feel like talking to people, and when I did interact with others, I couldn't seem to say what I was thinking. It resulted in me sounding like this for most of the time: "Um, you can...well, what I mean...I'm sorry, I just-I can't really talk today-ah, I guess what I'm trying to say is yes."
#2: Random picture.I was the first girl on the Elison side.
